Children's Hospital League
Scope and Contents
The records of the Children’s Hospital League span from 1920-2012, with the bulk of materials dating from the 1970s-1980s. The collection consists of meeting minutes, annual reports, by-laws, correspondence, photographs, slides, financial records, brochures, newsletters, and publications. The collection is comprised of three series:

Historical Note
1869 - The Ladies Aid Association was formed, providing towels, linens and necessities for patients of Children’s Hospital.
1920 - The Ladies Aid Association evolved into the Welfare Committee.
1949 - Welfare Committee renamed Women’s Committee.
1976 - The Children’s Hospital League was founded as a fundraising group.
1979 - The Children’s Hospital League and the Women’s Committee combined into the Children’s Hospital League.
