The records of the Department of Radiology span 1975 to 1990. The records are arranged into four series: Administrative Papers, Patient Cases, Syllabi and Videotapes.

Historical Note
The Children’s Hospital Boston Department of Radiology is the preeminent pediatric radiology department in the world and the oldest in the United States, dating back to 1899. In addition, the department was one of the first in the world to offer a fellowship training program in pediatric radiology, beginning in 1949. Over the years, the department has trained almost fifty percent of all of the pediatric radiologists in the United States. Radiology also produces approximately seventy percent of the chairmen and heads of pediatric radiology departments in the country.
