Biographical Note
Edith Pollard Ralston was born February 3, 1875, in Woburn, Massachusetts to Ella M. Pollard of Woburn and Archibald Ralston of Berthier, Quebec. Edith graduated from the Children's Hospital School of Nursing in 1902. She married William Rice Jarvis of Claremont, New Hampshire on October 21, 1903. Jarvis is listed as a travelling salesman at the time of their marriage.
