Scope and Contents

The Developmental Medicine Center Papers are predominantly comprised of grant applications, training manuals, and reports. These applications document the early activities of the Developmental Evaluation Clinic and the history of Developmental Medicine and the field of genetics.

Items of note include the Developmental Evaluation Clinic First Annual Report, Sept. 5, 1967 – August 31, 1968, which captures the first year of this clinic. Also, the Developmental Evaluation Clinic Training Manual, 1975 provides a snapshot of best practices in DM.

The Nonantum Report: Current and Future Needs for Genetic Services, 1/27/1978, may be of interest to genetics scholars.
